2020年1月　翻訳のヒント（英訳） － 簡単な文法クイズ

　新年おめでとうございます。

　正月休みの後ですので、今回は軽いクイズで行きたいと思います。
　どれも基本的な文法事項ですが、不正解率が高いものです。

　次の各文は、言いたいことはわかるという点では深刻に気にする必要はないかもしれませんが、文法上の間違いがあります。修正してください。

1)　Almost Japanese businessmen wore dark suits.

2)　Despite of the rain they went out for a walk.

3)　His answer was as following.

4)　I want to go to there with my children.

5)　I look forward to see you again.

　修正例を下に記載します。なお、これらはあくまでも一例です。

＜修正例＞

1) Most Japanese businessmen wore dark suits. 又は Almost all Japanese businessmen wore dark suits.

2) Despite the rain they went out for a walk. 　⇒ despite は前置詞なのでof をとる。

3) His answer was as follows.

4) I want to go there with my children. 　⇒ to は不要。

5) I look forward to seeing you again.
